On our way to Great Barrington, MA we stopped by this five story viewing tower that sits along Route 2, just west of I91.
We wanted to catch the sunset, but the hill to the right blocked the view. We had to settle on the subtle glow of the passing headlights.
This picture doesn't do this experience justice. For one, the colors of the leaves aren't as vivid. They never are, are they? Secondly, you don't feel the frigid, crisp air that caused us to shake uncontrollably. I hadn't been that cold since last winter.
On our way back from brunch we ran into this little squirrel snacking on an acorn. You could hear him grubbing on that little thing from a block away.
Taking a load off after brunch - me and Broski (pronounced "bro-ski!").
